Josh Frydenberg has officially conceded the seat of Kooyong to Independent Dr Monique Ryan.

He said in a statement, “Today I rang Dr Monique Ryan to congratulate her on the election result”.

“To the people of Kooyong, I can only say thank you.”

The former Treasurer held the seat of Kooyong for 12 years.

It’s been an incredible privilege to have served as the local member for the last 12 years.
