Josh Frydenberg tells voters ‘not to change course’ after today’s RBA announcement
Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg said it’s “reasonable” that over time interest rates have normalised.
The RBA raised the interest rate from 0.25 to 0.35% today, and the Treasurer told Jim Wilson that Australians need to look at the “broader context”.
“These are serious economic times, it’s not a time to change course,” he said.
“It’s not a time to risk Australia’s economic future with an unproven leader of the Labor party who can’t even tell you what the cash rate is.”
