Scott Morrison has spoken fondly about his friend Tim Fischer after attending his funeral today.
The former deputy prime minister lost his battle with acute leukemia last week.
The nation farewelled the great politician in a state funeral in Albury, where the Prime Minister paid tribute to his friend.
Tim Fischer was ‘Australia all over’. It was a great honour, together with Jen, to join in paying tribute to his life and extraordinary contribution to our country in Albury today. Love to his wife Judy, and his sons Harrison and Dominic. A life well lived but taken too soon. pic.twitter.com/lbhHPyYgXC

Mr Morrison tells Ben Fordham he knew Tim Fischer for 25 years.
