‘Just outrageous’: Central Coast councilors trying to recontest seat
The decision to extend a massive rate rise for an additional seven years in Central Coast has caused individuals to pay to repay its huge debt.
NSW Minister for Local Government Wendy Tuckerman told Jim Wilson, “If an election is called they have the right to nominate”.
“We’re currently calling for people to put submissions into a review we’re conducting.
Hearing the concerns of ratepayers Ms Tuckerman said the cost being imposed is “terrible”.
“It’s about making sure our councils are educated on the decision there making.”
