Country music superstar Keith Urban has given his number one fan the surprise of a lifetime, visiting the gravely ill young woman in hospital.

25-year-old Marissa English was born with a raft of health conditions, including an inoperable cyst on her brain, severe scoliosis and cerebral palsy.

Her hospital room is covered with Keith Urban memorabilia and also happens to be just down the road from where the Aussie musician was performing in Ohio last week.

Knowing she couldn’t attend, nurses at the Mercy Health St. Vincent Hospital began a social media campaign to get Keith to visit them.

The down-to-earth Australian did just that and more, holding a private sing-a-long just for Marissa and her family.
