An opponent of parachuted Kristina Keneally claims the Labor MP isn’t “connected” with the community she seeks to represent.

Ms Keneally last year resolved to run for the lower house seat of Fowler to avoid a preselection skirmish, despite not living in the area.

Fairfield Deputy Mayor and independent candidate for Fowler, Dai Le says it’s clear Ms Keneally doesn’t understand the area, yesterday incorrectly stating just eight per cent of Fowler residents have university qualifications.

The correct figure is 15 per cent.

“She’s not connected to our community,” Ms Le told Ray Hadley.

“Can we really trust her?”
