Labor will tear up the brand new Sydney Light Rail ‘if it’s a scourge’

The state opposition leader has admitted tearing up the brand new Sydney light rail is an option if he’s elected.
Speaking on Sky News, Michael Daley said he will do whatever needs to be done.
“If it’s a scourge on this part of Sydney and it’s wrecking traffic on a regional basis we’ll have to some very hard decisions.”
Transport Minister Andrew Constance has hit out at “rash comments”, saying it’s yet another infrastructure project that Labor wants to see fail.
“He’s announced the cancellation of the northern beaches tunnel, cancellation of the west harbour tunnel, the F6, the stadiums, the metro south-west project and today an extraordinary statement.
“That’s not what the city needs to hear.
“We’re building public transport to bust congestion, change lives, make life easier for everybody.”
