Lawyer explains NRL’s options after stadium deal backflip
Ray Hadley has consulted a lawyer as the NRL seeks legal advice over the government’s backflip on suburban stadiums.
Rugby League Commission Chairman Peter V’landys told 2GB Breakfast he and the Premier shook hands on a promise to revamp suburban football grounds.
“A verbal agreement is just as binding as an agreement reduced to writing but for any agreement dealing with property,” Wests Tigers Chairman and Brydens Lawyers boss Lee Hagipantelis told Ray Hadley.
