Recent opinion polls suggest it will be a close race in the lead up to the election.

The latest Newspoll poll shows Labor retains a four-point lead after preferences from the Greens.

Managing Director of YouGov Galaxy David Briggs tells John Stanley “this is going to be a very tight election”.

“The Coalition haven’t been in the lead… since 2016.

“This would be a real coming from behind if they are going to storm home on this occasion.”
