Liberal MP slams government for ‘lacking vision’ after walking away from extended school hours trial
Liberal MP for Ryde Jordan Lane has blasted the NSW Government for saying no to an extended school hours trial, slamming Labor as lacking innovation.
The proposed scheme would have been one of the largest changes to day-to-day lives since the introduction of the eight-hour workday, but the trial isn’t happening.
“It just makes sense to have a vision and be innovative, and that’s not what’s been happening with this government by walking away from the trial,” Lane told Chris O’Keefe.
