Lidia Thorpe calls Australian constitution an ‘illegal and racist’ document

Senator Lidia Thorpe has courted controversy again, decrying The Voice bill by taking aim at the constitution.
Thorpe denounced the Australian constitution as an illegal document, as well as a product of colonialism and racism.
The parliament nonetheless passed the The Voice referendum bill.
