The legend of Jess Fox at the Olympics continues to grow, winning the C1 to make it two gold medals in Paris in a matter of days.

While her opponents crumbled under the intense pressure of an Olympics, Fox managed to hold her nerve to win the final by over two seconds.

Joining Nine Radio shortly after winning Australia’s seventh gold medal of these Games, Fox said she was overcome by the Australia support both in Paris and back home.

“This has been an incredible day in the water,” she said.

“I’m overwhelmed.”
