Jim Wilson has confirmed the Liverpool speed camera “cash grab” trial is now permanent.

The 30km/h speed camera remains in Bigge Street near Liverpool CBD and has been revealed as one of the top earning speed cameras in Sydney

“So the trial is over, where was the community consultation that was promised? A lot of people who’ve contacted us said the lack of communication about these changes including the speed camera on Bigge Street has been virtually non-existent,” Jim said.

Transport NSW Executive Director Bernard Carlon told Jim Wilson the implementation of the camera is due to community feedback.
