A Sydney swimmer has been reunited with her beloved lost wedding ring following a miraculous find by a snorkeler.

A few days ago, Paola Monroy was enjoying her day out at Balmoral Beach.

“As I took out my phone from my pocket, the ring slipped through the bench then the deck… and into the open ocean.”

“I just started to panic,” she told Chris O’Keefe.

Local snorkeler Meggan Brummer took it upon herself to help find the missing wedding ring.

She recounted her epic search to Chris: “I dive down and I pause, and then I see this ring… And when I came out to her, she runs up to me and gave me the biggest hug I’ve received in my entire life”.
