MAJOR DELAYS: Sydney Trains hit with power outage as crowds leave Matildas match

Sydney Trains have been hit with a power outage at a less than opportune time, causing major delays for patrons leaving Sydney Olympic Park after the Matilda’s 3-1 loss.
The delays were cased due to a power outage at Ashfield. That power outage, according to Transport for NSW, was caused by a suspected incident of vandalism which has now been reported to NSW Police.
Sydney Trains Rail Operations director Jas Tumber told John Stanley that Sydney Trains were working hard to fix the issue as soon as possible.
