Man bashed with hammer in horror road rage attack, Auburn
A man has been bashed in the head with a hammer during a road rage attack in Sydney’s west yesterday.
Emergency services were called to Ettalong Road at Auburn at about 3.40pm, finding a 65-year-old lying injured in the street next to his Holden ute.

The Guildford man was rushed to hospital with a fractured skull.
Witnesses told police the man got into a fight with the driver of a Volkswagon Golf after a minor collision and was allegedly hit in the head with a hammer.
Police found the car parked nearby and arrested the 25-year-old driver.
A hammer was found in the vehicle and has been seized for forensic examination.
The man, also from Guildford, has been charged with intentionally causing grievous bodily harm.
He’s been refused bail and will face court today.
