Man fighting for life after being attacked by dogs, Tregear

A man is fighting for his life and two others are injured, after being attacked by dogs in Sydney’s west.
A 40-year-old man went into cardiac arrest after suffering multiple bites wounds at a friend’s home on Vincennes Avenue at Tregear.
The Careflight helicopter landed at the scene just after 1pm, with the man rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

A 30-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter were also attacked by the two dogs, believed to be similar to a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
The woman suffered a significant wound to her arm while the little girl has significant back injuries.
Police and the RSPCA worked together to secure the dogs, locking them inside the bathroom of the home, where they remain.
NSW Ambulance Acting Superintendent Jordan Emery updates Ben Fordham on the situation.
