Rail Union Secretary Alex Claassens has been spotted with a Labor shirt on at the polling booths during the election campaign.

It flies in the face of his regular claim that he “stays out of the politics”.

Mr Claassens is currently holding Sydney to ransom- with ongoing industrial action.

Peak hour services will be disrupted by more than 70% by the end of the week.

The Government has offered the Union a 3% pay rise and a one-off payment of $3,000.
