Man stabbed in broad daylight at Parramatta’s Church Street mall
A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man at Parramatta on Monday.
Just after 4pm, a 46-year-old man was sitting on a seat in Church Street Mall.
A 36-year-old man armed with a knife approached him, allegedly stabbing him in the stomach.
Emergency services were called and rushed the victim to hospital.
He’s undergone surgery on a large stomach wound and a cut to his hand and is in a stable condition.
The alleged attacker was arrested and has been charged.
He’s been refused bail and will face Parramatta Local Court today.
Police say the men know each other.
