Concussion protocols: Andrew Johns calls for week off before Grand Final
The NRL’s mandatory 11-day stand-down period for concussion cases comes into effect tonight.
Nine commentator Andrew Johns backed the mandatory stand-down period but said we have to have a week off before the Grand Final.
“You can’t get to the major semis and hypothetically Souths get to the grand final against the Roosters and Latrell Mitchell get a head knock and he is not there on Grand Final day.”
