Dragons 2010 premiership winner and member of The Continuous Call Team Mark Gasnier has given an insight into what it’s like to be coached by Wayne Bennett.

The former Dragons centre was coached by Bennett in 2010 when they won the premiership and says he doesn’t just want to make you a better footballer, but also a better person.

“If a kid already knew football and you wanted him to be the best player and person he could be, you’d give him straight to Wayne Bennett”, Gasnier said.

“Wayne’s an amazing man mentor, he drives excellence just through competing and effort.

“He understands how to motivate you, and he’s a great man you can see what he has done for individuals.”
