GALLERY | Ben thanks those who worked on Matty’s Garden
Matthew Leveson went missing in 2007, and after his parents made a deal with the devil last year, they found his body under a tree in the Royal National Park.
Ben Fordham joined forces with Chris Slaughter from Scenic Blue Design to help bring Matty home.
They replanted the palm that had grown over Matthew’s body in the Leveson’s backyard and renovated the yard to give them a sanctuary to reflect in.
Dozens of volunteers worked on the project over one huge weekend and many more companies donated products to make it possible.
This weekend, all those who helped out are getting together for a special lunch at La Cucina restaurant in Gymea.
