Men fighting for life after Blue Mountains shooting
Two men are fighting for life after a shooting in the Blue Mountains early this morning.
Just after 4.30am, neighbours on Connaught Road at Blackheath called Triple Zero after hearing gunshots.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, finding two men aged 25 and 31 suffering gunshot wounds at a home.
The younger man was treated at the scene for a wound to his lower back and the older man for a wound on his torso.
Both were rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are looking for two men who were seen fleeing the home following the shooting, which investigators believe may have been targeted.
A crime scene remains in place while investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
