Mental Health Minister weighs in on impact of return to school
NSW Mental Health Minister Bronnie Taylor says the wellbeing of students is a priority ahead of a return to school.
A Save the Children survey indicates 82 per cent of NSW students have experienced negative learning and development impacts – higher than the national average of 69 per cent.
The Minister told Ben Fordham children need to be supported in a return to the classroom.
“We need to be positive for them and we need to reassure them that schools are safe places.”
