Comedian Merrick Watts is hosting a new true crime podcast Police Tape.

The 10 part series interviews former police officers who have worked on some of the biggest crimes, giving audiences an insight behind the scenes.

Merrick tells Ben Fordham he “jumped” at the chance to host.

“People think that if I’m involved in a true crime I’ve committed it!” he jokes.

“Crime is fascinating to people and I’m just as fascinated as anyone else.”
