Minister slams ‘union thuggery’ as train strikes hit Sydney AGAIN
Train services will be disrupted again today as workers go on strike.
Services will be heavily reduced between 10am and 4pm, affecting the T2 Inner West and Leppington lines, the T3 Bankstown line, the T8 Airport and South lines and the Southern Highlands line.
There will be no services running on the T5 Cumberland line between Richmond and Leppington.
Buses will replace trains on the T3 Bankstown line between Lidcombe and Bankstown and the T7 Olympic Park Line between Lidcombe and Olympic Park.
Employee Relations Minister Damien Tudehope told Ben Fordham the unions are causing serious disruption.
“Every time we seek to solve one problem they raise another issue.
“If you ask me what this strike is about today – I just don’t know.”
