As well as the rail workers going on strike, bus drivers have decided to down tools as well tomorrow.

There will be at least a 30-minute gap between services, with Sydney Trains recommending avoiding all non-essential rail travel where possible.

Buses will replace trains on the T3 Bankstown line between Lidcombe and Bankstown and the T7 Olympic Park line between Lidcombe and Olympic Park.

There will be no train services operating on the T5 Cumberland line. Customers can change at Granville to complete their journey.

Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Newcastle Intercity services will operate to a weekend timetable frequency and South Coast Intercity services will operate hourly between Kiama and Waterfall and buses will replace trains on the Port Kembla line between Port Kembla and Wollongong.

The bus strike will impact Inner West, Sydney CBD, Strathfield and Rockdale will be off the roads from 4am to 7am and then 2:30pm to 5:30pm.

NSW Employee Relations Minister Damien Tudehope told Jim Wilson they are leaning towards “ripping up” the enterprise agreement and agreement with the union.
