Mother and four kids lucky to be alive after car was shot at in Condell Park
A social media argument is believed to have led to a shooting of a car with four children inside in Sydney’s South-West last night.
Five people were in the car with the youngest to be 12-years-old.
NSW Police Detective Chief Inspector Darren Sly told Jim Wilson the children and mother were lucky to be alive.
“The car itself was a small car … Five people on board, four young people and one of the mothers were giving them a lift home from work,” he said.
“The offending vehicle has managed to get the vehicle to stop, one of the occupants got out and fired a number of shots, it is a miracle no one was hurt.
A 20-year old is in custody but the second offender is still on the loose.
NSW Police has asked for the public to call Crime Stoppers if anyone has any information regarding the incident.
