Nationals MP quits party over decision to oppose Indigenous Voice
A Nationals MP is quitting the party, due to its opposition to the Indigenous voice to parliament.
Member for Calare, Andrew Gee will sit in federal parliament as an independent effective immediately.
In his statement, he said he doesn’t want to be expected fall into line with a party position that he “fundamentally” disagrees with.
