NBN rolls out full-fibre connections to more households
The National Broadband Network (NBN) is extending its full-fibre connections to an additional 600,000 homes in New South Wales, providing faster, stronger, and more reliable internet.
According to the NBN spokesperson Jane McNamara, the average Australian household now has 21 internet-connected devices and this expansion is designed to meet the increasing demand.
She also singled out Blacktown residents as the biggest data users in the state, consuming the equivalent of 243 hours of Netflix in high definition, or 809 hours of video conferencing calls in March alone.
