‘Needs complete overhaul’: TWU boss calls for complete Qantas clean slate
The Transport Workers Union’s Nick McIntosh has called for a complete overhaul of the Qantas board as the $750,000-a-year chairperson Richard Goyder signals his departure for some time in the next 12 months.
Qantas has been having an absolute mare, with nothing but controversy and court cases striking down the flying kangaroo. McIntosh says the board doesn’t just need one or two new faces, but instead a complete clean slate – and now.
“This is a board that needs a complete overhaul. Richard Goyder needs to go”, the TWU’s Assistant National Secretary told Chris O’Keefe.
