Author Emma Partridge dives into the shocking true story about death, love, and lies in the small NSW town of Walcha.

The Widow of Walcha details the story of Natasha Beth Darcy when she murdered grazier Mathew Dunbar after he made her the sole beneficiary of his multi-million-dollar sheep farm in 2017.

In a stranger-than-fiction twist, Darcy’s estranged husband, who she was once charged with trying to kill was the first paramedic on the scene following Matthew Dunbar’s death.

Emma Partridge told Deborah Knight the dark past of Natasha “intrigued” her to write a book.
