New twist in former racing club CEO’s role amid sexual assault charges
A new video sent into Ray Hadley shows former CEO of Albion Park Harness Racing Club, Scott Steele, leaving a club function despite only being allowed to attend events as a member of the public.
This comes after Steele was stood down from his position in July last year following rape allegations.
Ray was also given assurances earlier by Club Deputy Chairman Greg Mitchell that Steele never attended before today’s video emerged.
He was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of rape for offences allegedly committed in 2015 and 2016.
Steele will face a pre-trial hearing at Brisbane District Court in September.
