No room for Nazis: Senator wants extremists booted
Nationals Senator John ‘Wacka’ Williams says extremists have no place in his party after a leaked dossier revealed dozens of members have links to neo-Nazi groups.
The Daily Telegraph reports at least 35 New South Wales Nationals members are being investigated for their supposed connections to white supremacist groups and alt-Right movements.
Some members have posted photos of Nazi guards outside concentration camps, with others celebrating dictator Adolf Hitler.
The problem has extended beyond the Young Nationals, with the party’s state director Ross Cadell revealing new cases are being uncovered daily.
Nationals Senator John ‘Wacka’ Williams is furious, telling Deborah Knight these extremists have no place in his party.
“As far I’m concerned, we don’t want them, we don’t need them.
“They can go away somewhere else.”
The Senator says he’s confident those with ties to white supremacist groups will be booted quickly.
“I have no doubt when the information comes forward… within a very short period of time they’ll be looking for somewhere else to park their crazy theories.
“We’ll go through them one by one, find the culprits and they’ll no longer be a member of the National Party in the very near future.”
