After much anticipation, the wait is finally over with NRLW action getting underway for 2023.

It’s set to be an exciting season with four new teams joining the competition including the Cronulla Sharks, the North Queensland Cowboys, the Wests Tigers and the Canberra Raiders.

All 48 games of the season will be broadcast live and free on Channel Nine.

The Continuous Call Team panellist and NRL on Nine NRLW commentator Allana Ferguson is looking forward to the competition.

“My favourites to win the comp are the Roosters,” Ferguson said.

“I think because we’ve expanded to 10 teams, the clubs that have depth will go well at the back end of the year.

“I think the Knights will be up there and the Titans are looking good.

“But the Roosters as a whole have an unbelievable starting team but they’ve also got some great players coming through.”
