Ryan Matterson NSW Blues Utility Forward has been named in the team for the series opener.

Matterson told WWOS he is blessed for the opportunity.

“I have been soaking up the week at the moment but I am looking forward to it,” he said.

“It is just one of things that it feels so surreal.

“My uncle had he opportunity to play for the state and now that I get to do that it means the world.”
