NSW children allowed a ‘friends bubble’ in time for school holidays
Children and teenagers under the age of 18 will be able to create a ‘friends bubble’ and visit each other’s homes.
The new rule is based on adults in the homes being fully vaccinated.
From noon today, people aged 18 years and under who live in stay-at-home areas and areas of concern across NSW will be able to create a bubble of three friends and visit each other’s homes.
The friends must live within 5km of each other, or in the same LGA, and adults must not interact with each other during drop-offs.
HSC students will benefit from the change, with the opportunity for study bubbles.
