Farmers in the NSW Snowy Mountains have discovered space junk after it fell from the sky onto their property.
Mick Miners found the debris on his land just south of Jindabyne.
ANU space expert Brad Tucker was sent out to verify the 3-metre object.
He told Ben Fordham it’s a piece from a SpaceX spacecraft that was meant to land in the ocean.
“This part has been in space since November 2020.”
