NSW government dodges crucial question on London Trade Commissioner
The NSW government has been unable to state just how much money the London Trade Commissioner is bringing in.
The controversial trade commissioner roles have come under fire as questions are raised over their relevance.
Ben Fordham has been chasing the monetary value to NSW provided by the London Trade Office since it opened at the end of January.
But, when questioned, Trade Minister Alister Henskens’ office said, “We can’t provide specific dollar figures in relation to outcomes at this stage because it’s still early”.
“Either they don’t know or it’s zero,” Ben said.
