Deborah Knight has voiced her opinion after it was revealed that the NSW Government is looking to extend the life of The Eraring coal power station near Newcastle following reports that renewable projects won’t plug the energy gap when the plant retires.

“Renewables are the future, but you can’t just flick the switch on reliable power,” she said.
