NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns is calling for three doses of the COVID vaccine to be mandatory for essential workers.

Currently, 41.7 per cent of people in NSW have received their booster dose.

The federal Health Minister says having a third dose will “most likely” be needed to be considered “fully vaccinated”.

Mr Minns told Ray Hadley it’s the “essential next step”.
