NSW Labor leader grilled amid China revelations
The NSW Labor leader has revealed a trip to Hong Kong and China in 2015 was funded by a Chinese billionaire exiled from Australia as an agent of Chinese influence.
The head of ASIO had warned Huang Xiangmo was suspected of making political donations on behalf of the Chinese government.
After returning home, Chris Minns called for Mandarin to be made mandatory at school.
But Mr Minns told Ben Fordham he has had no contact with Xiangmo.
“If you look back at it, I wish I’d changed many things.”
