NSW Police makes biggest cannabis bust in Australian history
Six people have been charged over a record-breaking seizure of $67 million worth of cannabis seized at a rural property in the state’s west.
Almost 20,000 cannabis plants were seized on a rural property in Dandry, about 35km north of Coonabarabran.
Six people – five men and one woman – were arrested and taken to Dubbo and Coonabarabran Police Stations.
They were all refused bail to appear at Coonamble Local Court today.
Investigators are working with the Department of Home Affairs regarding the visa status of the group.
