NSW Premier backflips after explosive Hills Shire Council findings
Ray Hadley has taken the Premier to task over findings out of the Hills Shire Council inquiry.
Speaking with Ray, the Dominic Perrottet said anyone who was involved in the alleged branch stacking of Hills Shire Council will “have the book thrown at them,” including his brothers, Charles and Jean-Claude Perrottet.
Dominic Perrottet: “I’d want to see evidence of a wrongdoing first … in relation to the council.”
Ray Hadley: “Well mate, Christian Ellis’ mother is on the council! Do I have to draw it out for you?”
Dominic Perrottet: “The Liberal Party is looking at this matter. I have never been comfortable at all where lobbyists sit on any executive body of any political party.”
Mr Perrottet said he’s has had a “change of heart” on the matter after previously calling it a “Labor-Greens circus”.
“You specifically have raised issues on-air that certainly need to be looked at. I know and have complete confidence in our authorities.”
Earlier, NSW Labor leader Chris Minns spoke to Ray about the findings that were handed down yesterday by the parliamentary inquiry investigating the Hills Shire Council.
Mr Minns told Ray that the Hills Shire Council “has to be suspended pending a full investigation.”
