Floodwater inundates NSW town of Molong
An SES volunteer has refuted claims they weren’t active in a NSW town impacted by extreme flooding.
Floodwaters have inundated the streets surrounding a Molong hotel.
Cabonne Mayor Kevin Beatty told Ben Fordham a number of rescues occurred overnight.
“Almost every shop went under.”
He claimed SES volunteers were trapped 65km away, leaving the town to fight on their own.

But SES volunteer Paul told Ben Fordham the crew has been active in the area since midnight.
“We only just got out of there now because flood waters receded.
“We’re still on deck, as we speak.”
