NZ Rugby buys stake in Sky
New Zealand Rugby has negotiated a five per cent stake in Sky Television after a reported $400 million broadcast deal.
Sky will have the rights to show Super Rugby and All Blacks matches until 2025.
NZ Rugby CEO Steve Tew tells Ross Greenwood they view the deal as a partnership.
“They are a long-standing and very trusted partner of ours.
“It’s quite a unique or revolutionary step.”
