Officers ‘keeping a very close eye’ on Mostafa Baluch as he undergoes quarantine
Alleged drug kingpin Mostafa Baluch is under heightened security after arriving in NSW.
Baluch was extradited from Queensland yesterday and will undergo 14 days quarantine at Silverwater.
NSW Corrective Services Acting Commissioner Kevin Corcoran told Ray Hadley he’s been placed in a segregation area.
“They are keeping a very close eye on him … there will be more restrictions than if he was a normal quarantine inmate.
“He’s been very compliant so far.”
