One Nation push for crackdown as baby formula stocks plummet
One Nation is pushing for a crackdown on shoppers stocking up on baby formula and selling it overseas as local families struggle to get their fair share.
Mums and Dads who need the formula to feed their children can’t get hold, with greedy shoppers selling it overseas for sometimes double the price.
Pauline Hanson’s daughter has experienced the problem first hand and the One Nation Leader tells Ben Fordham something needs to be done.
“She went into the chemist and the chemist said this is one that suits you for the baby,” Senator Hanson says.
“[She said] I’d advise you not to buy that one because it’s going to be extremely hard to get because a lot of it is bought up and sent overseas to China.”
Senator Hanson says we need to ramp up baby formula production in Australia to meet the growing demand.
