Opera House lighting controversy: NSW Premier Chris Minns under fire
NSW Premier Chris Minns has faced backlash over his controversial decisions regarding the lighting of the Sydney Opera House.
Chris O’Keefe argued that the cancellation of the lighting for the coronation due to cost concerns is unjustified, given the New South Wales budget.
He also questioned the reasoning behind other cancelled events, such as the Israeli flag display whilst the sails were lit up for the quad meeting.
“Now this whole thing stinks, but now we know Chris Minns is keen to stop needless light shows on the opera house,” said Chris.
