Broncos legend and Board Member Darren Lockyer has admitted this year’s State of Origin series has taken a toll on the club who are on the verge of missing this year’s final series, following their most recent loss to the Bulldogs.

“Kevvie (Kevin Walters) didn’t have the luxury of being able to rest the players and they played well, but they were very flat last week,” Lockyer said.

The Broncos have lost seven of their last eight matches.
